M. R. Sellars has been called the "Dennis Miller of Paganism" for his quick wit and humorously deadpan observations of life within the Pagan community and beyond. However, his humor is only one facet of his personality, as evidenced by the dark thrillers he pens.
While being fast-paced, intensely entertaining reads, his books are also filled with real-life pagan dynamics and even a dash of magick! The Rowan Gant novels have spent several consecutive weeks on numerous bookstore bestseller lists. The Law of Three, book #4 in the saga, received the St.Louis Riverfront Times People's Choice award soon after it's debut.
As honorary elder of Mystic Moon, a teaching coven based in Kansas City, and an honorary member of Dragon Clan Circle in Indiana, Sellars is for the most part a solitary practitioner of an eclectic mix of Pagan paths, and has been since the late seventies. He currently resides in the Midwest with his wife, daughter, and a host of rescued felines. His schedule never seems to slow down and when not writing, researching a project, or taking time to spend with this family, he can be found on the road performing workships and book signings nation wide.
